The Rose Maxi is the boldest expression of the Lara Louise Designs aesthetic — a dress built for genuine impact. Vibrant red contours the body in a bold halter-style silhouette with light stretch for a sleek, sculpted fit, while the plunging neckline is adorned with sculptural rosette appliqués that create extraordinary texture, depth, and visual interest at exactly the point where people look first. Below, a smooth body-skimming skirt continues the confident line through to a full-length, floor-grazing hem. This is not a dress for blending in.

Size + Fit: Size XS, true to a small frame. The fabric offers light stretch but is best suited to a true extra-small or UK 6–8 — accurate measurements through the bust, waist, and hips are the guide for the most flattering fit. The halter neckline ties at the back of the neck and supports the rosette detailing securely. No conventional bra is possible with the halter style; adhesive cups or boob tape are recommended.

Garments are steamed before dispatch. The structured rosette detailing holds its shape well in transit.

How renting works

Please note, every rental includes a snag and spill insurance which covers you for minor damages (broken zips, small marks etc. however, should a garment need special stain removal, you will be liable for the cost of this additional fee.

How to select my dates:

Please select your rental start date (the preferred date you would like to receive your rental) on the calendar above.

Saturdays + Sundays are greyed out as we don't deliver on weekends.

How long do I keep the garment for?

Our standard rental period is 4 days. If the last day of your rental falls on a weekend or public holiday, we will collect on the next working day.

Shipping & returns

Cut-off time: Orders placed after 1 pm are dispatched the next business day.

We deliver nationwide across South Africa.

Style Rotate is Online Only, if you would like to try-on please select the "Try-On" Rental period on the calendar. If the product does not have this open or you would like to try on more than one dress, please WhatsApp us here. Love it? Your try-on fee counts towards your rental — just book within 7 days and it comes straight off the price."

Fit Guarentee

If your rental arrives and the fit isn't right, WhatsApp us on 079 393 4213 within 4 hours of delivery and we'll issue a gift card to the full value of your rental. If we are able to and time and delivery allow, we will organise a replacement dress.

Wear & care

Our pieces are pre-loved and may show light signs of wear.

All rentals include snag and spill insurance covering minor damage (e.g. small marks or broken zips). Specialist stain removal, if required, will be charged separately.

Garments are steamed before dispatch but may crease in transit — we recommend a quick steam on the day of your event.
