Use and Damage of Clothing and Late Returns
  • You will treat the Clothing with the highest standard of care.
  • You will not in any way alter (temporarily or permanently) the Clothing in any manner without our prior consent in writing.
  • Clothing will returned on the expiry of the Hire Period and in the same condition as when Hired.
  • You will inspect all Clothing and it is your obligation and duty to record to us in writing immediately upon receipt of the Clothing if there is any damage, defect or wear and tear of whatsoever nature to the Clothing. We can then take note of such damage, defect or wear and tear. As long as you return the Clothing in the same condition as when Hired you will not be liable for this.
  • Unfortunately we cannot Hire Clothing to you or other customers which has been damaged in any way whatsoever, whether due to your fault or another’s. Although we will try to fix (at your cost) any damage to the Clothing, we need to ensure that the Clothing is fit for its purpose and we need the Clothing to be ready for the next Hire. As such we have the right, to be exercised in our sole discretion, to charge you the Replacement Fees of any of the Clothing which is (i) not returned within 5 (five) calendar days of the end of the Hire Period; or (ii) damaged or altered in any way, for any reason whatsoever, whether due to your own fault or another’s.
  • Whenever the retail value of Clothing needs to be determined in terms of the Terms and Conditions, we make this determination but we will act reasonably in making such determination.
  • We have the right, to be exercised in our sole discretion, to charge you Late Fees if any Clothing is returned after the Hire Period.
  • We have the right, to be exercised in our sole discretion, to charge you a reasonable Administration Fee if any Replacement Fees or Late Fees are payable. This is to cover the cost of making arrangements to acquire new Clothing, following up with you on late delivery or lost Clothing, bank fees etc (this list is not exhaustive).
  • You authorise Style Rotate to debit the card which you used to make the payment of your Hire Cost for any Hire Cost, Replacement Fees, Late Fees or Administrative Fees payable in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
  • Any Replacement Fees, Late Fees or Administrative Fees paid by you in terms of the Terms and Conditions are in addition to any Hire Cost.
  • If you fail to return the Clothing and have paid the all the Replacement Fees, Late Fees and/or Administrative Fees (as may be applicable), you will own the Clothing. This “sale” is made on a voetstoots basis and we make no warranty to you in respect of such Clothing.

    Style Rotate Back-Up Dress — Terms & Conditions

    These terms apply in addition to Style Rotate’s general rental Terms & Conditions.


    1. Eligibility & How the Offer Works

    1.1 The Back-Up Dress offer allows customers to add one (1) additional dress to their order at a discounted rate.

    1.2 Customers must:

    • Add a primary dress to cart

    • Select a Back-Up Dress from the eligible collection

    • Ensure both items are booked for exactly the same delivery dates

    • Apply code BACKUP26 at checkout

    1.3 Not all dresses are eligible for the Back-Up Dress offer.

    1.4 Style Rotate reserves the right to determine eligibility of items at its sole discretion.


    2. Discount Application

    2.1 The Back-Up discount applies to the designated Back-Up Dress item.

    2.2 Where both selected items are eligible, the discount will apply to the lower-priced dress.

    2.3 The promotional code must be applied at checkout. Failure to apply the code will result in standard pricing.

    2.4 The Back-Up Dress fee is non-refundable and non-creditable, as it covers processing, insurance and cleaning costs.


    3. Use of Garments

    3.1 Customers may try on both dresses but may only wear one.

    3.2 Security tags must remain attached to any unworn garment.

    3.3 If:

    • both dresses are worn, or

    • tags are removed or tampered with on both dresses

    Style Rotate will charge the full rental fee for the Back-Up Dress (less any Back-Up fee already paid).

    3.4 Any damage, late return, or misuse will be handled under the main rental Terms & Conditions.


    4. Returns

    4.1 Both dresses must be returned together and on time.

    4.2 Returned garments will be inspected upon receipt.

    4.3 Customers must follow the standard Style Rotate return process and deadlines.


    5. If Neither Dress Is Worn

    5.1 If both dresses are returned unworn (with tags attached), Style Rotate will:

    • Issue a credit on the primary dress in line with the Fit Guarantee, where applicable

    • The Back-Up Dress fee remains non-refundable

    5.2 Customers must notify Style Rotate of any fit issues within the required reporting window (currently 4 hours from delivery for shipped orders).

    5.3 Failure to notify within the required window voids eligibility for any credit relating to fit.


    6. Price Difference

    6.1 No refund or credit will be issued if the customer chooses to wear the lower-priced Back-Up Dress instead of the primary dress.


    7. Misuse of the Offer

    Style Rotate reserves the right to:

    • cancel the Back-Up discount

    • charge full rental fees

    • or restrict future use

    where we reasonably suspect abuse of the Back-Up Dress service.


    8. General

    8.1 This offer is subject to availability.

    8.2 Style Rotate may amend or withdraw the Back-Up Dress offer at any time.

    8.3 All standard Style Rotate rental Terms & Conditions continue to apply.
