We’re so excited to share a new service we’ve been working on for you – our mending and repairs service.

At Style Rotate, we believe fashion is more than just what we wear – it’s how we care for our planet and the choices we make. That’s why we’re launching this service, to help you extend the life of your favorite garments.

How SR StichUp Works

    We are open for appointments (free of charge) every Monday from 10am-2pm. You can book a slot here.

  • Your Appointment

    Come with up to five items that you need repaired or need minor alterations made to.

  • Wear Your Clothes for Longer

    We aim to have your items ready for collection the next day.

Base Price List

  • Repairs

    zip replacement: R120 (including zip)

    tears or holes in fabric under 4cm: R50

    mending hems (re-hemming): R60

  • Minor Alterations

    pant length adjustment: R120

    dress/skirt length adjustment: R120

    size adjustments: R150

    *Any additional fabric or supplies needed for the mending will be added to the invoice.

    *Alterations will be discussed with the seamstress upon arrival and a price will be confirmed.

Terms of Service

1. Service Scope

1.1. The Mending and Repairs Service is designed to extend the life of garments by offering repair and mending solutions owned by the customer.
1.2. We offer services such as fixing tears, repairing hems, replacing zippers, reattaching buttons, and other garment care needs as assessed on a case-by-case basis.
1.3. Upcycling or restyling services may be available upon request, subject to approval and additional costs.

2. Eligibility and Requirements

2.1. Garments submitted for repair must be clean and free of stains, odors, or excessive damage. Items deemed unsuitable for repair may be declined at our discretion.
2.2. Customers must disclose any prior alterations or damages to ensure proper assessment and service.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. Service charges will be provided after garment assessment. Pricing depends on the complexity of the repair or alteration.
3.2. Full payment is required before services commence.
3.3. Additional costs for materials, such as zippers or replacement fabric, may apply and will be communicated before work begins.

4. Turn Around Time

4.1. Estimated completion times will be provided upon garment assessment and are subject to the nature of the repair and workload.
4.2. We strive to meet all deadlines but are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.
