Rental Cancellation Policy
RENTAL CANCELLATION & FLEXIBILITY POLICY
We want you to feel completely confident when renting with Style Rotate. Please read through our policy carefully to understand your options.
If you need to cancel your rental, please notify us as soon as possible via WhatsApp on 079 393 4213.
CANCELLATIONS 10 WORKING DAYS BEFORE YOUR RENTAL START DATE
If you cancel at least 10 working days before your rental start date, you may choose one of the following:
- Reschedule your rental to a future date
- Receive a gift card to the full value of your rental (valid for 2 years)
- Receive a full refund (processed via our payment partner, Stitch — please allow up to 10 working days)
CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS
(Before your item has been shipped)
If you cancel within 10 working days of your rental start date:
- You may reschedule your rental to a future date
- Or receive a gift card to the value of your rental
Refunds are not available within this period.
Please note: Orders are typically dispatched 2 working days before your rental start date. Once shipped, the below policy applies.
CANCELLATIONS AFTER DISPATCH OR DELIVERY
If your item has already been shipped or delivered:
- We are unable to offer a refund, reschedule, or credit
This is due to costs already incurred, including delivery, dry cleaning, and preparation. All garments are professionally cleaned after every rental, whether worn or not.
Cancellations include but are not limited to: change of mind, no longer attending the event, event is now cancelled.
IF YOUR DRESS DOESN'T FIT
Delivered Orders
If your rental has been delivered and does not fit:
- You must notify us on the same day your parcel is delivered, within 4 hours of delivery, via WhatsApp on 079 393 4213 or email to cole@stylerotate.com
- Store credit will be issued to the full value of your rental
- Collection will be arranged via courier
If you notify us on a different day to delivery, or outside the 4-hour window, we are unable to offer store credit. This is not applicable to Try-On orders.
TRY-ON DRESS (AT-HOME FITTING FOR FUTURE BOOKINGS)
Designed to help you decide on a dress before committing to your event dates.
How it works:
- Select your try-on dates at checkout, just like a standard rental
- Try on at home — not to be worn to an event
Important:
- The security tag must remain attached
- If removed, the full rental fee will apply
- A try-on does not reserve the dress for future dates
- To secure your event date, a separate booking and full payment is required
- Try-on fees are non-refundable — no cash refunds will be issued. If you choose to rent, you'll receive a discount code via email valid for 7 days, redeemable on stylerotate.com only
Best for: Planning ahead and ensuring the perfect fit and style
BACK-UP DRESS (FOR UPCOMING EVENTS)
For when you'd like a second option for your event.
How it works:
Two dresses are booked for the same dates. Each is secured at 50% of the rental price upfront. Try both on and choose your final look.
Once the dresses arrive and you have chosen which one you want to wear:
- We'll send a payment link to complete the balance for the dress you wear
- The unworn dress must be returned with the tag attached
Important:
If the tag is removed from either dress, the full rental fee applies.
Best for: Peace of mind with a second option ready for your event
