How do I book a rental?

browse our website for your next look. items are curated by size and we stock sizes 4 –22. see each product page for the relevant product information.

our calendar function allows you to choose when your new look will arrive. we don't deliver on weekends,so remember to always select a weekday before your weekend event.

bookings can be made for 48hours time, provided the order is placed by 1pm. super organised? you can book an item up to 3-months in advance. remember to select the day you would like to receive or self-collect the item.

Can I reserve an item without paying?

no- our business works on a first come, first serve basis and unless you pay for the rental in full, the item is still available to be rented out by another rotator. the only way to secure an item is to pay the rental fee.

How long do I get to keep my rental for?

our standard rental period is four days – we suggest you book delivery for two days before your event. we understand if you wanna love it a little longer, so we also offer a 2-week/weekend rental period. please contact us atlerato@stylerotate.com  

Can I get my item shipped to my door?

Absolutely. All rentals can be delivered straight to your door and collected again by our courier service once your booking is over.

Main City Centres: 2–3 business days.
Outlying Centres: 2–4 business days.

Cut-off time: Orders placed after 1 pm are dispatched the next business day.

How do I pack/return my item if it has been shipped to me?

we pre-book the courier collection for you. simply repack the item in the return packaging provided + attach the printed return waybill to the parcel.

please ensure you are contactable and the parcel is ready anytime on the final rental day.please ensure your parcel is ready for collection and re-packed using the box, garment bag and hanger it arrived with.

How does pick-up & try-on work?

browse our website just like you would for regular online shopping. at checkout, select the "pick-up and try-on" option.

this means we will have your look ready and waiting for you at one of our branches, and you can try it on when collecting.

if it doesn't fit you, you are welcome to do an exchange, receive a gift-card to the value of the rental or a refund. this is our fave option, as it's risk free. please note that refunds processed through our payment partners take 10 working days to reflect. 

What if the item is damaged or stolen while with me on a rental?

we want you to love your new look like it’s your own – but we understand that sometimes accidents happen. each rental fee includes a snag & spill insurance that has you covered in the case of losing a button, a broken strap or a minor champagne spill.

however, if an item is damaged beyond repair or is in need of specialised cleaning please let us know immediately vialerato@stylerotate.com. in this scenario, an additional cleaning fee will apply.

you will be liable for the full market value of the item if damaged beyond repair, lost or stolen. you can also take a look at our t&cs for worst-case scenario outcomes.

Can I collect or return my rental with Uber?

We no longer accept rental returns via Uber Parcel under any circumstances due to theft risks and insurance limitations. Please ensure all rentals are returned to our showroom by yourself or a trusted family member or friend, as the rental remains your responsibility until it is safely received by one of our team members.

What if I don't end up wearing the dress?

Once the item has been collected or shipped and your event is cancelled or you change your mind, we unfortunately cannot offer you with a credit or refund.

Once an item is paid for in full, it is reserved for you for those dates and a last minute cancellation means SR misses out on business. We also audit and clean every item when it comes back to the studio regardless of whether it's worn.
